Astaxanthin Mango Berry Smoothie

Bright, fruity and naturally refreshing, this Astaxanthin Mango Berry Smoothie is a simple everyday smoothie made with mango, berries, banana and citrus. The Astaxanthin powder gives the smoothie its rich red-orange colour, while the fruit adds natural sweetness and a smooth, creamy texture.

It’s quick to make, colourful in the glass, and perfect for breakfast, a snack or a fresh afternoon blend.

Ingredients

Serves 1

  • ½ banana
  • ½ cup mango pieces
  • ½ cup mixed berries
  • ¼ cup orange juice
  • ½ cup cold water or coconut water
  • ½ to 1 teaspoon Micro Wholefoods Astaxanthin Powder
  • Ice, optional

Method

  1. Add the banana, mango and mixed berries to a blender.
  2. Pour in the orange juice and cold water or coconut water.
  3. Add the Micro Wholefoods Astaxanthin Powder.
  4. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  5. Add ice if you prefer it colder or thicker.
  6. Pour into a glass or jar and serve fresh.

  • Fresh blueberries
  • A raspberry
  • A strawberry slice
  • A small orange wedge
  • A glass straw for serving
